Arrived expecting opulence but was met with mediocrity. The bathroom plumbing, dreadful, refused to cooperate. Breock, while seemingly nice, did not offer any complimentary gestures for the inconvenience. The decor was a confusing mix, totally underwhelming for such a supposed hidden gem. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

The rooms were perfect and fabulous, they come with an all important Comfy Bed and great views. We appreciated particularly good breakfasts with lovely eggs from happy hens.

Warm hospitality in a picturesque setting
The hosts greeted us with homemade biscuits and a warm welcome. The breakfast was good, offering generous portions that kept us fueled for our coastal adventures.
While the location is lovely, be prepared for a bit of a drive if you're planning to explore further afield than Cawsand and Kingsand, as public transport options are limited.

The spacious apartments come fully stocked with everything you need, with the kitchen particularly impressing guests with its comprehensive amenities. The bathrooms in the rooms are a highlight, providing large baths that are perfect.
Some guests mentioned the challenging terrain around the hotel. There are reports of inconsistent Wi-Fi performance, which can be a hassle for anyone needing to stay connected. The lack of on-site dining options beyond breakfast also limits convenience, especially for those wishing to dine in after a day's outing, and parking can be tricky during local events, which might derail plans for a smooth stay.

We recently stayed in a beautifully decorated Two-Bedroom Apartment where the spacious bathroom was a delightful treat. The breakfast was gourmet, absolutely a culinary highlight! The only downside was the limited outdoor seating, which would have been great for enjoying the scenery.

Perfect getaway for a wedding
We had a fantastic 2-night stay! The place is charming and super cozy. Breock was so cute and had some lovely treats waiting for us-definitely loved the real coffee. Just wish there was more outdoor seating to enjoy the great view. The location is fab, just a short taxi ride to The Fort.
